Personal Letter
If we talk about the definition of a personal letter then we can
say simply that the personal letter is a letter sent by a person individually
to other persons or agencies. The bottom line is this letter was sent by an
individual and not a letter from an institution, organization or company.
The purpose of the letter he sent was to the things that are
personal or private matter of the mailer. Then it anything that could be sent
over the kind of personal letter? Some things that could be the contents of a
personal letter were:
1) An apology (apologies)
2) Acknowledgements (Thank you's)
3) congratulations (Congratulations)
4) Invite (Invitations)
As the name implies, a personal letter of course contain any
personal or private so it is very different from the kind of official letters.
With a personal letter like this of course we can use them for example to
express your feelings to who sent the letter. While the problem of language
used was not using formal rules or formal language but free as you wish.
Rule Writing Personal Letter
The above has explained that "personal letter" does not
have to use standard writing conventions but uses writing as desired. But there
are still some things that we can adjust as a reference in making good personal
letters.

closeness of the relationship between the mailer and the recipient of the
letter, for example in our language frequently used words - words that intimate
and romantic.
The final part personal letter will be closed with the conclusion
that using the words "Yours sincerely,". For the closing sentence we
can also use other words such as "All the best", "Best
regards," and so on. Once the cover is then followed by the name and
signature of us as the mailer.

Dear Paula,
Hello Paula, how are you? It’s been a month since I last heard
from you. Well, I just wanted to tell you that I was in a hospital last week.
According to the doctor; I was infected by dengue fever.
At first, I felt my body became weak then I fainted when I was
studying in the classroom. Then, I was taken to the hospital because of the
high fever.
At the hospital, I was brought into the emergency unit. The doctor
immediately gave some treatment. Finally, I had to stay there for one week.
Everyday the doctor kept me on a drip.
At the seventh day, my condition was getting better. After the
final check, the doctor gave me permission to go home. Now, I’m okay and
because of my illness, I am now more careful about keeping in my house clean
especially my room, I don’t want to get the same illness again.
